Shikara 'Paradise on earth' Collection
This collection has been inspired by my journey to Kashmir 30 years ago from Delhi when I had never ever seen a paradise on earth. It seemed like heaven with streams flowing non chalantantly through the flower laden valley unaware of its own beauty! Fruits and birds in colours I had only seen in storybooks. Springs bursting with joy and singing songs so melodious that it struck a chord with my heart. Houseboats and Shikaras so opulent that they looked like jewels in the Dal lake. My heart aches for this land of beauty and wish the curse be lifted and it regains its joy and love!
