This Collection of mud handblockprinted has been printed by a family who is the fifth generation of Artisans. It's a special kind of mud which has been mixed with organic materials and has been kneaded for hours to get the right consistency for it to stick well to the fabric. This mud makes the fabric soft and has healing properties. The colours are made with flowers and plants which again is an elaborate process. The fabric is treated with antimicrobial elements and the processes are long and tedious to finally get the colour and print. These fabrics are a work of art and part of the Indian Heritage and culture. The fabric is then designed and embroidered to make it into a beautiful garment. Each time we wear we can appreciate the skill and be part of our rich Indian Heritage. The feel of the softness reminds us of the elaborate processes that the fabric has been through!
