This Collection came into life when cotton and silk yarns were woven by the skillful hands of the weavers from 'Maheshwar'. This craft was patronised by the Queen 'Ahilya Devi' who herself designed the first saree which encouraged it to become a means of livelihood for these craftsmen.
This fabric was woven into beautiful colours like mint green, sunrise yellow, coral and sandstone with traditional gold borders. It then travelled from this temple town situated on the banks of the Narmada river to Indie Cotton Route's workshop. This lustrous fabric was then designed, embroidered with intricate floral motifs inspired by Meenakari jewellery. Hope you feel like a Royal each time you adorn this garment!
